We are a software house with an engineering soul — a small, senior team that takes products from a sketch on a whiteboard to systems running in production at scale.

Altering Technologies was founded with a dual conviction: the systems businesses already run on deserve to be transformed, not just maintained — and new ideas deserve engineering that lets them grow into products that last. We work in both directions: re-engineering and modernising existing technology, and taking greenfield projects from first sketch to production scale. The name is the mission — we alter what technology can do.

We are a two-generation engineering house. The founder came to industry through academia: a former university assistant professor with a first-class Computer Science degree specialising in AI, named Poland's best IT student of 2007 and awarded the scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. His doctoral studies in mechanics were pure applied mathematics — the design and optimisation of processes — followed by a PhD in electronics focused on digital signal processing and recognition. Add twenty years of software engineering on top, and that's the foundation the company is built on.

Alongside him: the next generation — a developer writing software since the age of thirteen, with two products shipped solo and four commercial applications under his belt. The combination is the point: academic rigour meets native-born product instinct.
